Self-portrait of a chronically ill artist. June 2017, Pentalic AquaJournal, watercolors.
I'm an ink and watercolor artist of Vietnamese descent who lives in the Pacific Northwest. I'm chronically ill and disabled.

This particular blog I started to record my journey as a growing artist—somewhere to write down the lessons I learn from my tutor and other artists, to remember what I discovered for myself, to recall which art products and books actually worked for me, and to store art study essays about master works.

These days I'm pretty much all about art and trying to heal and recover as much as possible. Sometimes I play Fields of Arle, Nautilion, Imperial Settlers, Coffee Roaster, and a variety of other solitary board games.
